My 1st big cross country flight in the Super Cub; happy to share the experience.
Proud to be associated with ForeFlight: http://www.foreflight.com/flightchops/
Understanding airspace and how to creatively work with in the system is key to enjoying aviation.
Some pilots avoid talking to ATC at all costs. But controllers are there to help, and today I was really impressed with how helpful they were even though they could not see me, and I was staying just on the edge outside their airspace.

And below is a link to a tragic example of a wake encounter while cruising, doing something similar to what I was doing BUT the heavies were much closer above.

FLIGHT CHOPS DISCLAIMER:
I am a “weekend warrior” private pilot, I fly for fun with no intentions of going commercial. I have had my PPL for over 15 years, but still consider each flight a learning experience – I generally take detailed notes after each flight to remind myself what went well or what I could do to improve…. Having the GoPro cameras to record flights like this is invaluable. I find these self analysis videos very helpful in my constant quest to improve, and am happy to share. Feedback is invited; however, please keep it positive.
