Wow ….Steve I so related to Chris,s anxiety , and you were so graceful and understanding. I did some upset recovery stuff in a Decathelon with Canada,s 7 time international champion Gerry Younger. He,s in his late seventies now and not active anymore. I kept getting sick and disoriented, I was so disapointed ,but we all dont have a good inner ear for aero stuff. I,m in Kitchener minuts from the airprt ,love to meet you . Love your channel

I saw that you installed the Aerosport armrest/throttle body combo in your RV-14A. (I enjoy watching your videos.) The installation looks great and I would like to do the same with my -14 and would appreciate if you could share the dimensions used for your cables lengths. This would give me a good starting point. Steve, I have enjoyed your build videos! You had some short comments aboout your avionics stack, but it would be great if you had a list of the components. Another fact that would be great would be if you could post some of your reasoning about the components you chose. Any chance of that?

Hi Steve,

Sorry I missed you at OSH, I came by several times but our paths never crossed. I am currently building an RV-14, I saw your airplane and must compliment you and congratulate you on your airplane. I like your interior and had planned on using the same G3X panel with a console mounted power quadrant. Can you tell me where you sourced the console and cables from and if there was any major problems with the installation? Do you have any suggestions if you were to do it differently? Also I watched your video on the OSH arrival, well done. I am curious to know if the placement of the power controls are comfortable, I was hoping to sit in the aircraft if I found you and see for myself. The camera may distort the angles a bit but it appeared that the controls may seem a bit aft. Of course I am an airline pilot and I am used to those controls being farther forward. So I am curious as to how it feels ergonomically to you. Thanks for the information. Great website, I will need to do some more exploring on it.

Steve – I can’t recall in which video, but I am sure I saw you using a kneeboard that had your iPad on top, and you just lifted it up (hinged) to get to the regular writing surface. That was truly cool, and my current kneeboard is getting tired – where can one find info on the iPad-holding board?

Thanks so much for doing this. We live pretty close to Harv’s air and have seen Luke practise first hand. But still so appreciate the perspective you brought on your opportunity to train with him. Also the highlights of Winnipeg and what it has to offer was really well done. Thanks so much and hope you come back for more.
P.S The videographer that was hanging around was our “Uncle Gil” He has done tons to bring our family into the aviation community.
