I fly a flap-only glider and like your experience in the video, it sure is tempting to pull on the stick waaay too early during a nose-low approach. Important to keep in mind your stall speed increases with more flaps. Improves the safety margin. #BOZEA20

I fly a 68 Cardinal with the laminar flow wing which tends to maintain stability right up until it stalls–there is almost no buffeting, so I have always had the tenancy to land fast out of fear of sudden stall if the winds die down. Landing too fast has its own problems of course.

But these episodes are inspiring me to to really learn how to get comfortable with a slower, nose-high decent with hands on power just in case.
