I was stationed with VR24 in Port Layaeuty, from February 1950 thru Feb. 1951, then on to the London detachment for about 6 months,. I was then assigned to VF22, Sandford field, Florida,etc.. Got out on late ’52. Wound up as a PR2. Would love to hear about your connection to VR24.
